The famous Gratschwirt Hotel in Dobbiaco has a very extensive and interesting history.
In 1672, the “Gratsch property” changed hands no less than 18 times, until purchased by the Pircher family in 1905.
Originally, the Gratschwirt was part of a horse resting and changing station, which provided the original owners with a sizeable additional income along with the inn business. On 4 February 1905 Josef Pircher acquired the entire “Gratsch property”.

Since then the Pircher family has never stopped making changes and improvements, which have made the Gratschwirt a highly appreciated and frequented hotel and restaurant.
The Gratschwirt Hotel and the Dolomites are waiting for you!
